With 80-ton bollard pull, DP2 and a clear deck space of 435 m2, the A802 is ideally sized to tow the latest jack-up drilling rig. The propeller diameter is optimised for continuous 80-ton bollard pull with 6,000 bhp, produced by fuel-efficient, medium-speed engines.
The A802 has a wealth of deck space and accommodation available, opening it up to other options such as ROV support and oil recovery. The A802 is both SPS 2008 and MLC 2006 compliant.
